  	OBITUARY: Mary Ruth Case, of Rolla, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2004, at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 63. She was born in Pana, Illinois, on Jan. 22, 1941, to the late Sylvester Allen and Mary Francis (Collier) Case. Mary was a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Army having retired with the rank of master sergeant. She was also involved with the Rhea Cemetery Association having served as treasurer for 15 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Irene Elizabeth Case, and one brother, Jesse Alexander Case. Her surviving family members include one brother, Donald Case, of Palm Springs, California; a sister, Martha Kult, of Mission, Texas; nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. Graveside services will be private, however, contributions to the Rhea Cemetery Association in memory of Mary Case would be appreciated. All arrangements are under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.

  Biography	Ruth entered the US Army (WACs) on 5 Sep 1962. She worked in communications, administrative inspector with Inspector General and First Sergeant duty. She attained rank of Master Sergeant and earned various medals of commendation. She retired 1 Apr 1983, honorable. She retired from the army, then took care of her ailing parents until they passed on. She then was employed as a courier and a real estate agent until she died.
