    Text Obituary.

    Died at his home three miles north of Edgar Springs in Phelps county, Mo., April 1, 1903, Mr. William Dority Melton, aged 72yrs., 6ms. and 21 days.

    Mr. Melton was born in Hart Co., Kentucky, Sept. 10, 1925 and was a son of Mr. Joel and Mrs. Marabah Melton long since passed away, and was of a family of ten children, two of whom survive him; Miss Mary U. and Miss Betty T. Melton. Feb. 19, 1950 Mr. Melton was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Jane Arthur a daughter of Uncle Billy Arthur of Corn Creek and who survives her husband. Unto them were born eight children, all still living, and six of them were present when the last bad moments came. His grand children number 15 with 13 still living.
