    • Obituary of Clara Kult
      Clara Kult, nee Deering, 96, formerly of Nashville, Ill., born June 30, 1909, at Bolo Township, Washington County, Ill., died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
      Clara taught school before she married. After marriage, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church and Altar Sodality, Nashville, Ill. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kult, whom she married May 16, 1927, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Radom, Ill., and who died Aug. 4, 1990; her parents, Frank and Julihanna, nee Bauza, Deering; two daughters, Rose Marie Minton and Joan Niedzwiecki; a grandson, Ron Jarrell; eight brothers, John, Tony, Mike, Joe, Frank, August, Leo and Andrew; and a sister, Mary Gajewski.
      Left to mourn her passing is six sons, Leonard S. Kult and Eugene M. (Janet) Kult, both of Belleville, Ill., Jerome (Kristen) Kult of Fullerton, Calif., Raymond E. Kult of Nashville, Ill., Robert J. (Judy) Kult of Granite City, Ill., and Leroy (Dotti) Kult of Lexington, Ky.; three daughters, Caroline Jarrell of O'Fallon, Ill., Patricia Hellon of Troy, Ill., and Shirley (Mark) Holmes of Glen Carbon, Ill.; 32 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and her nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.
      Should friends desire, Masses or memorial contributions may be made to the St. Ann School or to the St. Michael Cemetery, and will be accepted at the Campagna Funeral Home.

      Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at Campagna Funeral Home, Nashville, Ill., and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Nashville, Ill. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

      Funeral: Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Nashville, Ill., with the Rev. Paul Wienhoff officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Radom, Ill.
