      James Willard (Will) Collier, 63, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008, at the Columbia Veterans Hospital.

      A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion Hall in Warrensburg on Saturday, March 8th, 2008 at 2:00pm. The American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard Riders will be hosting a Farewell Ride beginning at 1:00 pm from the American Legion Hall in Warrensburg and commencing at the Hall at 2:00pm for the Memorial

      Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for 21 years until retirement with the rank of TSgt. During his service he was deployed to Thailand during the Vietnam War, then returned home and married Mary Ann and raised two children. They spent the early years of his service overseas in Japan and Europe then returned to the states for the remainder of his service. After retirement he returned to Missouri and later became active in the American Legion Riders and the Patriot Guard, where he enjoyed riding his Harley and was a frequent competitor at the local race track.

      Will was the first Director of the newly organized American Legion Riders, Chapter 131, Warrensburg, MO and had participated in countless PGR rides in several States.
